My story
Welcome in my website ! My name is Sara and I personally design, decor, cut and assemble all the projects you see in these pages. I lived for many years in Milano and I got a deegree in photography at IED, then I decided to move in the green hills area near Parma. Here Samsarart e Popcorntree projects began to start and develop, inspired by the nature that surrounded me.
In the beginning my intention was to keep Samsarart e Popcorntree projects separated, without having interferences between them. Samsarart mainly had fabric and creative sewing projects while Popcorn Tree was basically filled with wooden items like buttons made with branches from the fallen trees in my woods and other wooden decors. Today instead the two projects are mixed together and I really like the way they are evolving.
A couple of years ago I started to do furniture decorations with “shabby chic” technique and built a lab tailored to allow me to work on my projects. I hope this adventure I started will go on and on and that ideas and projects will continue to flow endlessly. Sara
